For Orford Ness I have combined two of my artistic passions, drawing and photography, to produce a unique digital image.
The drawing, which was made from sketches undertaken on site, utilises charcoal, ink and coloured pencil. The photographic extracts are from digital photographs taken on site.
The drawing was scanned to provide a digital image and the photographs then superimposed on the drawing.

The red and white lighthouse, built in 1792, is one of the most dramatic features of the site and is still in use. The site also includes a range of former military buildings, including the Watson-Watt radar tower shown in the picture.
